Led by Carlos Romero, we are a specialist studio in the technical design of architectural envelopes. We operate fully remotely, supporting architects, contractors, and manufacturers across multiple countries, providing tailored technical support regardless of project location.
Based in Spain, we collaborate with national and international clients in the United Kingdom, the United States, Norway, and other European markets. Our approach is defined by close collaboration, flexibility, and technical rigour, with a strong focus on quality and clarity in all project documentation.
Carlos Romero is a Building Engineer with specialised expertise in façade design and sustainable building envelopes. With ten years of international experience as a façade designer and project coordinator, he has contributed to complex projects across the UK, Norway, and the US, with a focus on rainscreen cladding systems.

Now based in Spain, he leads the design team at CR Facade Design, delivering technical support on façade projects internationally.

He holds a degree in Building Engineering from the University of Granada and a Master’s in Technological Facades and Sustainable Envelopes from the Polytechnic University of Madrid.

Rafael Cabrera is a Technical Architect with over five years of experience specialising in rainscreen façade design. He is actively involved in the technical development of each project, ensuring precision and consistency at every stage.

He is proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM methodologies, with a strong focus on the production of clear and detailed technical documentation.

He also holds a Master’s degree in Structural Design, providing a solid technical foundation and a strong understanding of structural principles, without undertaking structural calculations.

Fernando Martin is a Technical Architect with over ten years of experience in the field in the UK and Spain. His experience includes large-scale construction and property development, civil engineering, and other architectural projects.

Fernando is now specializing in the design of rainscreen facades. He holds a degree in technical architecture from the University of Granada and a master’s degree in BIM Management from the University of Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid.
